Born on the edge of the Adirondack Mountains, Cheval Noir Inc. was founded in 2022 and is a woman owned and operated business out of Lewis, New York. All of our products are handcrafted in the USA and made from the highest quality of materials.
Cheval Noir Inc. was inspired by our Belgian Malinois, Ragnar, and his need for high quality working and protective gear while hiking and training in the extreme elements of the Adirondack Mountains. We started designing working gear for active dogs when Ragnar continued to suffer multiple injuries from faulty gear. In order to continue enjoying the great outdoors, we decided to create our own line of gear that we can trust. We now want to share our products with the rest of the world to help protect as many pups as we can so they can continue to live their best lives.

I founded Cheval Noir Inc. after coming across numerous gaps in the market when it comes to durable and functional gear for working dogs. I am excited to share my products with other dog lovers so we can protect our pups together!
Ragnar
The dog who inspired it all! Ragnar has been my ride or die dog ready for any adventure. He loves spending his time hiking the High Peaks in the Adirondacks, swimming in Lake Champlain, and training in a variety of sports.
